Telefon Boleh Ubah Aktiviti Sel Otak

CHICAGO 23 Feb. - Berbual menggunakan telefon bimbit dalam tempoh 50 minit sudah cukup untuk mengubah aktiviti sel dalam bahagian otak kerana ia berada paling hampir dengan antena gajet tersebut.

Bagaimanapun, saintis di Institut Kesihatan Kebangsaan (NIH) semalam menyatakan bahawa masih belum jelas sama ada ia mendatangkan kesan buruk kepada pengguna atau sebaliknya.

Jelas saintis, kajian yang mereka jalankan tidak melihat kebimbangan berulang tentang kaitan antara telefon bimbit dengan kanser otak.

"Apa yang kami tunjukkan adalah peningkatan metabolisme glukosa iaitu satu aktiviti otak pada individu yang terdedah terlalu lama kepada telefon bimbit di bahagian otak paling dekat dengan antena," kata Dr. Nora Volkow daripada NIH dalam kajiannya yang disiarkan dalam Jurnal Pertubuhan Perubatan Amerika.

Katanya, kajian itu dibuat bagi meneliti bagaimana reaksi otak kepada medan elektromagnet yang disebabkan isyarat telefon tanpa wayar.

Volkow berkata, beliau terkejut apabila mendapati radiasi radioaktif lemah dari telefon bimbit boleh memberi kesan kepada aktiviti otak, tetapi penemuan itu, katanya tidak menerangkan sama ada telefon bimbit boleh mengakibatkan kanser.

"Kajian ini langsung tidak menyentuh mengenai kanser otak.

"Ia hanya menunjukkan otak manusia sangat sensitif kepada radiasi elektromagnet akibat pendedahan kepada telefon bimbit," katanya.

Penggunaan telefon bimbit meningkat mendadak sejak ia diperkenalkan pada pertengahan 1980-an dan kini ia digunakan oleh kira-kira lima bilion individu di seluruh dunia.

90% Of Super Junior’s Malaysian Concert Sold Out In 4 Hours

After 364 days, Super Junior will meet Malaysian fans once again.

The tickets were in such high demand that 90% of the 9,500 tickets available sold out within 4 hours of pre-sales. At this rate, all of the tickets will be sold out before the official ticket sales even opened.

2,000 fans from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and other countries crammed into Sungei Wang Plaza in order to grab tickets to Super Show 3. Due to enormous demand and the high pressure situation, organizers were forced to move the ticket sales forward from 10 AM to 9:45 AM. Although ticket sales were officially set to open to public on the 20^th, most of the tickets were sold out beforehand.

It was reported that in order to make sure they could buy tickets, fans booked rooms at nearby hotels, causing all of the hotels around to be fully booked for the day, with fans queuing 24 hours earlier. After being told off by security, fans stayed around the Plaza, which caused it to be crowded for the weekend and drew complaints from businesses in the area that claimed they couldn’t open their shops.

Fans Throw A Surprise Birthday Party For Kim Soo Hyun

After hearing that actor Kim Soo Hyun would be spending his 24th birthday juggling a busy schedule for KBS 2TV ’s “Dream High“, fans made a visit to his set in order to throw a surprise birthday party.

They battled the blistering cold with the castmates and staff members to ensure that their favorite star would be able to enjoy a memorable birthday. Although his castmates had different schedules to attend to, all of them took time out of their day to attend thebirthday party.

Kim Soo Hyun commented, “It was the happiest birthday party of my life. I felt that I really was receiving generous love. I would like to thank the fans who are always protecting me from behind, and my fellow castmates and staff members for holding on to me and helping in every way.”

On the February 15th episode of “Dream High,” ‘Sam Dong’ made everyone’s hearts flutter when he performed his emotive song, “Dreaming” .

After his hearing became damaged, Sam Dong faced the possibility of losing his dreams. He eventually decided that a perfect pitch would be his only hope, and so he goes to ‘Pil Sook’ for help.

Pil Sook advised, “Memorize one pitch and make your vocal cords remember it,” and “Since you have excellent relative pitch, all you need to do is focus on the rest and it will all work out“. In order to fully test his pitch, Sam Dong teams up with Pil Sook to perform Jinwoon & Changmin’s duet, “Can’t I Love You?“.

His excellent performance earns him an A+ grade, and he later goes on to perform “Dreaming” at his showcase.

Impressed viewers left high praises on the viewer board: “So touched by Kim Soo Hyun’s vocals!,” “Sam Dong cried, and so did I. Daebak touched!,” and “Acting, singing, there’s nothing that he can’t do.”

The episode achieved 20.1% in viewer ratings, according to AGB Nielsen Media Research.
